Detailed Instructions

control-click or right-click and select open in either Safari or Firefox's download window
this opens a folder of the mounted disk image from the downloaded file SongTip.dmg

double-click (or control-click-open or right-click-open) SongTip's green play triangle in the newly opened folder
if the system asks for your approval to run a downloaded application, you may safely do so with any downloaded file from songtip.com
SongTip's splash screen may display for a minute while the application initializes and searches for other SongTips on your network
your music will be presented by albums, songs, and playlists - and displayed with cover art (ensure cover art is enabled in iTunes)

select music and press the play button to ensure speakers are working (for the current version, any speaker selections should be made in iTunes)
adjust volume level as desired - SongTip volume matches iTunes volume (ensure the system/hardware volume is also set as desired)
freely experiment with SongTip, or use this script to clarify and exercise its capabilities

choose "open" (not "save")
approve the installation (you may receive a warning about installing non-Nokia software)
you will receive a notification once SongTip is successfully installed

ensure the N810 is connected to a network where you have SongTip running on at least one Mac with iTunes content
click on SongTip under Nokia's Application “Extras”
SongTip's green “Play” triangle icon may not be refreshed until the first reboot after installation
SongTip's splash screen may display for a minute while the application searches for other SongTips on the network
your music will be presented by albums, songs, and playlists - and displayed with cover art (ensure cover art is enabled in iTunes)

select music and press the play button
adjust volume level as desired
freely experiment with SongTip, or use this script as a tutorial or demonstration
